Yanmar Diesel Engine • EPA Compliance Documentation • Full Wireless Remote Control

A customer in Puerto Rico contacted SSlifter to evaluate compact spider cranes for a colleague’s lifting projects. The buyer had previously compared 3 ton, 5 ton and 8 ton machines and indicated a clear preference for the 8 ton model, provided the engine and control system could meet the project requirements.
The customer’s two most important conditions were a Yanmar diesel engine configuration and full wireless remote control. Remote operation was requested not only for the boom and winch, but also for the main crane movements, outrigger functions and machine travel.
Because the machine will be used in Puerto Rico, the buyer also requested an EPA-compliant engine solution and supporting compliance documentation. The project therefore required the crane configuration and the engine certification documents to be reviewed together before final shipment.

To meet the customer’s preference, the 8 ton spider crane is configured with a Yanmar diesel engine solution instead of the standard engine shown on the base parameter sheet. The engine photographs below document the Yanmar unit prepared for this configuration.

The buyer asked for remote control of the complete operating workflow rather than only basic lifting functions. The proposed configuration is therefore prepared around full wireless remote operation, including the main boom, winch, slewing, outrigger and machine-travel functions where supported by the final control package.
The customer requested an EPA-compliant engine configuration for use in Puerto Rico. A 2026 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Certificate of Conformity supplied for a Yanmar engine family is included in this case file as compliance documentation for review.
| Certificate Field | Document Information |

| Issued To | Yanmar Power Technology Co., Ltd. |
| Certificate Number | TYDXL03.3NDA-016 |
| Model Year | 2026 |
| Engine Family | TYDXL03.3NDA |
| Fuel Type | Diesel |
| Emissions Power Category | 37 ≤ kW < 56 |
| Effective Date | 11/03/2025 |

The attached EPA certificate identifies engine family TYDXL03.3NDA and emissions power category 37≤kW<56. The Yanmar engine nameplate shown earlier reads 3TNV74F-SPT1. Before final quotation or shipment, the EPA engine-family label on the actual installed engine should be checked against the certificate to confirm that the supplied engine is covered by this exact certificate.
A Puerto Rico customer contacted SSlifter while evaluating a compact spider crane for a colleague’s lifting projects. After comparing 3 ton, 5 ton and 8 ton options, the buyer showed the strongest interest in the 8 ton model because it provides higher lifting capacity, a 17.8 m maximum lifting height and a 16 m maximum working radius.
The customer specifically requested a Yanmar diesel engine and full wireless remote control. The required remote-control package covers the main crane functions and machine movements, allowing the operator to work from a position with better visibility during lifting, outrigger deployment and crawler travel.
For the engine configuration, SSlifter prepared a Yanmar diesel engine solution and supplied engine photographs together with EPA compliance documentation for review. The 2026 EPA Certificate of Conformity provided in the project file is issued to Yanmar Power Technology Co., Ltd. and covers engine family TYDXL03.3NDA. Final engine-family matching is verified before shipment so that the compliance documentation corresponds to the actual engine installed on the crane.
The Ss8T platform combines an 8 ton rated capacity, five-section telescopic boom, 360° continuous slewing, crawler travel and hydraulic outriggers. This configuration is designed for restricted-access lifting, steel installation, machinery handling, façade work, maintenance and other construction applications where a compact crane with strong lifting performance is required.
The customer also discussed combining the spider crane shipment with other equipment to reduce total logistics costs. SSlifter can prepare customized engine, remote-control, torque-indicator, hydraulic jib and work-platform options according to the destination market and project requirements.
SSlifter can configure engine brand, EPA compliance, wireless remote control, torque indicator, jib and work-platform options according to your destination market and project requirements.
