100kg Pneumatic Manipulator for Sanitary Ware Handling

The articulated arm helps the operator lift, transfer and position a load using the end handle. The supplied images show a toilet handling configuration with a dedicated gripper and white protective contact sleeves. Tooling must be matched to the workpiece; the permissible workpiece load depends on the approved configuration and tooling allowance.

Product Introduction

The SsLifter QR100T is a fixed column mounted pneumatic lifting manipulator for manually guided handling of workpieces. Its rated load capacity is 100 kg, with a 2500 mm arm length and maximum working radius, a 1600 mm lifting stroke, a 2550 mm column height and a maximum operating height of 3200 mm. The specified operating air pressure is 0.6–0.8 MPa.

Advantages
  • Reduced manual lifting effort. Pneumatic assistance supports repetitive lifting while the operator guides the load, reducing the need to carry the full workpiece weight by hand.
  • Flexible positioning. Articulated joints and a 2500 mm maximum radius support transfers between nearby workstations within the approved operating envelope.
  • Useful vertical travel. A 1600 mm lifting stroke accommodates transfers between different working levels, subject to fixture geometry and verified clearances.
  • Protection for ceramic surfaces. The pictured white padded sleeves provide a protective interface between the gripping elements and the toilet surface.
  • Stable fixed workstation. The column base and reinforcing ribs provide a mounting arrangement for a dedicated handling station when installed to the approved foundation design.
  • Workpiece specific tooling. A dedicated gripper can be selected for the product shape and handling task, with contact position and retention verified for the application.

Application Areas
  • Sanitary ware production. Transfer ceramic toilets between inspection, assembly and packing stations using a suitable padded fixture.
  • Rack loading and unloading. Move products between a nearby rack and workbench where reach, shelf height and access permit.
  • Production line handling. Support loading and unloading at adjacent conveyor or processing stations within the approved reach and load limits.
  • Packing and final inspection. Present products for inspection and guide them toward packaging supports with less direct manual carrying.
ROI
  • 1 Labor time savings. Measure handling minutes per unit before and after installation. Annual labor value = minutes saved per unit × annual units ÷ 60 × fully loaded hourly labor rate. Count redeployed time separately from actual payroll savings.
  • 2 Lower product damage costs. Track handling related chips, scratches and breakages. Annual avoided loss = reduction in damaged units × average net loss per damaged unit, including rework or replacement where applicable.
  • 3 Higher saleable throughput. Measure sustained cycle time and output at the actual bottleneck. Value extra output only when demand and downstream capacity support additional sales; use contribution margin rather than selling price.
  • 4 Less handling related disruption. Record time lost to heavy manual transfers, product repositioning and waiting for assistance. Monetize only the downtime demonstrably reduced by the new workstation.
  • 5 Tooling reuse. If compatible products can use approved interchangeable tooling, compare the incremental tooling and changeover costs with the cost of separate handling stations. Do not assume one fixture fits all products.
  • 6 Operating costs. Deduct compressed air costs, routine servicing, replacement protective sleeves and other consumables. Estimate air cost from measured consumption and operating hours; no consumption figure is supplied.
  • 7 Total installed investment. Include the manipulator, gripper, freight, installation, foundation or anchoring work, air supply connection, commissioning and operator training.
  • 8 Net annual benefit. Add verified annual savings and incremental contribution, then subtract incremental annual operating costs. Avoid counting the same saved handling time as both labor savings and production gains.
  • 9 Payback period. Payback in years = total installed investment ÷ net annual benefit. A positive measured net benefit is required for a meaningful payback estimate.
  • 10 Annual ROI. Annual ROI = net annual benefit ÷ total installed investment × 100%. Calculate a site specific result after confirming purchase cost, utilization, production volume and measured savings.
